Hi there,
That .me domain registration is what registers the domain name seraphim6.me, so you can use that domain name instead of your blog’s free WordPress.com address.
If you don’t want to register a .me domain, you can register a domain ending in .com, .org, .net, or .co. We have information registering those domains and the annual cost for each here: Domains
You can also go back to using your blog’s free WordPress.com address instead of a custom domain, if you prefer. You can set the primary domain for your blog under Store > Domains in your dashboard.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hello rachelmcr,
Yes, I would like to drop the .me domain and just have a regular domain such as .com or .net…
How do I let the staff know to drop the .me when it comes to renew my annual domain registration – I think my subscription ends sometime early next year.
Thanks. -
Hi there,
There isn’t a way to automatically switch from one domain extension to the other — your current domain registration is for the exact name seraphim6.me, so if you renew that domain it will always be seraphim6.me.
If you want to switch to a domain like seraphim6.com instead, you will need to register that as a new domain: Register a New Domain
You can register that new domain at any time by going to Store > Domains in your blog’s dashboard.
If you don’t want your .me domain anymore, you can go to Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard and disable auto renew on your domain seraphim6.me. Then, you can let that domain expire. Please note that once that domain expires, visitors who go to seraphim6.me will no longer get to your blog. They’ll need to visit your new domain (e.g. seraphim6.com) instead.
