Is it normal to not be able to access WordPress blog after domain mapping?
-
I set up a WordPress blog. Then I bought a domain name from GoDaddy. Then I paid the $13 on WordPress to map my blog to the domain name, and changed the nameservers on GoDaddy to ns1.wordpress.com and ns2 and ns3 about an hour ago. My WordPress blog does not appear at the domain name, however, and when I try to access the blog through WordPress, I just see my unbuilt Web page from the domain, not my WordPress blog. Is this normal?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

OK, after clearing browser cookies and cache, I can now access my WordPress blog at its WordPress address.
When I go to the domain I tried to map WordPress to, however, it just shows the unbuilt Web page, not my blog. Does that take time to be updated?
Thanks very much

WordPress is now saying I have my blog and domain mapped correctly.
On Go Daddy, I have these nameservers under the “I have specific nameservers for my domains” listing: NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and NS2—-and NS3—-.
Chose the domain name as my primary blog address in WordPress.
Yet now I can’t access my WordPress blog, and the unbuilt domain page shows up at both addresses. Ugh. I would greatly appreciate any help. I’m embarrassed to have so much trouble with this at such an early stage…

http://runnerish.net/ appears to be working properly. Here’s what I see: http://d.pr/i/OVSp/SoucCnNF
When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors”. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
You can continue to update your site while your custom domain propagates, by going directly to your Dashboard, here:
https://rpd118.wordpress.com/wp-admin/If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours has passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookiesIf that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache:
