  I’m trying to launch my site, but instead of automatically using the free domain I chose, it’s directing me to pay for one. Is it not actually free or did I accidentally choose a paid option?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  https://cutepoops.wordpress.com/ has been online for quite a while. Are you wanting to work on that site or are you trying to create a another free site? Free domains end in .wordpress.com or .home.blog or similar. If you wish to use some other custom domain for an address then a paid plan is required.

  Sorry, I didn’t realize it selected that old site. I’m trying to creat blogpoops.wordpress.com, but when I try to launch, it brings to to the custom domain page.

  Finally found the option to continue using my free domain. I feel like it was hidden, but maybe I’m just dense. Thanks for your help.
