Is it possible for all 'followers' to automatically receive blog comments as well as blog

Not a problem, just cannot find how, if at all, to enable followers to receive email updates of comments and just not the blog posts
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, you can set this option up for them to select to follow comments on each individual post with a single setting here Dashboard > Settings > Discussion

It is possible for users to follow comments on a per post basis. Every time they make a comment they may choose to receive automatic updates on that specific post. To enable this feature on your blog just follow the instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/following-comments/
