  I don’t want to have my location listed anywhere, and am wondering if someone who’s good with computers could find out anyway.

  Yes. If you go look at their website, they can see your IP. If you leave a comment on their website, they can see your IP. If you email them, they can see your IP. If you post pictures of where you live or work or shop or hang out, they can find your neighborhood on Google.

  And a lot of photos now have embedded location info in them
