Is it possible to add tagline w/ CSS?
-
Hello! After struggling to try to put one in, I was told by a helpful person online that Argent theme (deceptively) does not allow a tagline. I’m bummed because it lets you go through the act of attempting to type one in… I would really love to have one, as I prefer the look of Argent overall. Can this be done? I really want to try!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, the tagline in Argent could be un-hidden with custom CSS:
.site-description { display: block; }The tagline is used in other places as well, such as the browser title which is in turn picked up by search engines, but I understand that it’s confusing not to see it right on your site.

Kathrynwp, Thank you so much for your answer! May I just ask, additionally, where exactly in the editing I would go in to add that text above you provided me with?

Hi @impendingbloommultimedia, to be able to use that code, you would need to have the WordPress.com Premium Plan upgrade, which includes the Custom Design feature and the ability to add Custom CSS.
You can try out and preview custom CSS before you buy as explained here.
