Is it possible to alter the colour of the background in Swell's secondary video?

I’d like to use the secondary video area as a contact area instead of using video. Ive added some copy via the excerpt area but not sure how/if I can add a background colour?
Can anyone provide some css magic to get this working?!

Could you provide the link to the page containing the secondary video area and also describe where is it on the page.

Its where I’ve currently put ‘Contact Us here’ via the excerpt section on the home page cms.
You get to the secondary video area via ‘theme’ in the customise bit in the cms.
