Is it possible to change the color of a widget title?

  Firstly, can I just say that I did try to find the answer through an existing forum but I didn’t have any luck.

  I know how to change the color of the widget text and background but not the header/title. A previous answer suggested using the term ‘h2widgettitle’ in the CSS editor but that didn’t work.

  Thank you so much in advance. And also a massive thanks to timethief and the other support staff. You guys are brilliant and thanks to your previous answers I have managed to change a lot of my site already.

  This might be pushing it (sorry) but I also wondered if it was possible to change the wording after someone has left a comment and the font of the ‘leave a comment’ box?

  At present, it says ‘4 thoughts on xxx’. Is it possible to just have the word ‘comments’?

  Hi there!

  The CSS required to change the color of the widget header varies from theme to theme, so you might have found information for a different theme, which is why it didn’t work for you. For the Chunk theme, this code will change the color of the widget header:

  h3.widget-title {
  color: #ff0000;
  }

  I used red (#ff0000) in this example, so you would need to change the color to the color of your choice.

  I also wondered if it was possible to change the wording after someone has left a comment and the font of the ‘leave a comment’ box?

  Unfortunately, changing that would require editing the underlying theme PHP files, which is not possible to do on WordPress.com.
