Is it possible to change the name of my blog?

    I have been thinking about my blog title for sometimes now and think perhaps it’s better to name it something different from my web site.

    If I want to change to a new blog name, do I have to delete what I have created so far and re-build a new one with the new name?

    Hi there,
    Your blog URL (address) and the Site Title do not have to be the same. The Site title and/or the Tagline can be changed on the top of this page at any time. > Settings > General
    “save changes”

    But if you want to change the blog address ie. the URL, then you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to do that by using this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    That option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
