Is it possible to change the way blogs show on the main page?

  Is it possible to make each blog entry on my main page show the title of the blog, the maybe a paragraph worth of text, then a “Read More” button or something that is clicked to read the whole blog? Most themes just put the entire blogs one after another, and I’ve only found one or two themes that actually give a preview of the text.

  Can this be done somehow with other themes as well? Unless there’s some other way for me to reliably track which of my individual blogs gains the most attention.

  The Inuit Types. Hemingway, Fusion and few others have excerpts that work. I use Inuit Types and it is set to automatically display the beginnings of posts followed by read more links on the front page of my blog. We can use “the more tag” to split text and display beginning of posts on other themes. I believe that 2 photoblog themes Monotone and Duotone are the only exceptions.
