Is it possible to contact wordpress?

I am considering an upgrade and I have a question about one of the options. Also, before I decide to pay for things online, I like to verify that if I have a problem, I’ll be able to get in touch with the company or organization I’m paying to get the problem resolved. So I’ve looked around in hopes of finding a way to contact wordpress with my question and verify that if I have any issues with an upgrade I’ll be able to reach someone to get those issues resolved. As far as I can tell, I can only post a wordpress.com issue to the public forum. The Automattic page lists a link for the 24/7 support team for ‘support requests and billing issues,’ but the link leads back here to community support. It doesn’t seem to me as though the public forum would be the place to get something like a billing issue resolved. I assume I’m just missing something here and would be most grateful if someone could let me know what/where it is! Thank you!

For paid members there is live chat available with WP support staff, but for unpaid members it looks like the main resource for support are these forums. If you do pay for the service you will have live tech support online.
So, if I understand your question correctly, you will have what you need with a paid account.
