Is it possible to create a Product Catalog kind of Blog with WordPress.com?

Is it possible to create a Product Catalog kind of Blog with WordPress.com? Do there exist suitable themes? OR WordPress.org is the better option (Downloading the WordPress software, installing any of the suitable Product Catalog themes and moving ahead).
Is any suitable theme exist such that an attractive display of Products is possible with WordPress.com (not .org) – I also want that the customer should be able to write his/her reviews about the products etc and write any other feedback.Thank you

Any theme optimised for images should work, though blogs with the primary purpose of driving traffic to other commercial websites are not allowed and your idea might fall under this restriction. See: http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/
The only place where users can add content to your site is via comments, and I’m not sure that will serve your needs regarding user reviews.
There is a business upgrade which gives you limited ecommerce options via Ecwid, Shopify or Shoplocket. You can check wether any of those will serve your needs. More information here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/
Otherwise, WordPress.org is your best bet. There you don’t have the Terms of Service restrictions we have here and you can install any plugins you need for the added functionality. For more information on WordPress.org, see here: http://wordpress.org/
