Is it possible to define a billing address before paying the subscription?
-
Hello everyone,
I am in charge of creating a site via wordpress for a scientific event at work.
My institution uses a specific credit card for online subscription type purchases, and in order to ensure the payment of the invoices, we usually have to specify the billing data of our regional delegation so that this address appears on the invoice. However, during the purchase process (wordpress subscription + domain registration), I can only enter my contact information.
Is it only possible to specify a billing address? If so, how can I do it?
I can’t make a purchase with my employer’s money without having the guarantee that the invoice will be taken care of correctly..!
Thank you very much and have a nice day!

Hello,

I can’t make a purchase with my employer’s money without having the guarantee that the invoice will be taken care of correctly..!Yes, you can add your Business Tax ID details through the Purchases section of your WordPress.com dashboard.
- Log into your WordPress.com dashboard.
- Click your Profile icon in your Admin toolbar.
- Click Purchases.
- Click Billing History.
- Click the Add Business Tax ID details link at the bottom of the page.
- Select your country, provide your Business Tax number, Name, and Address, then click Validate and save.
Once you have VAT details set for your account, you can click “View receipt” (or “Email receipt”) on your Billing History page for any purchase; the VAT details will be included in all past and future receipts.
Please let me know if this answers your question and if there’s anything else you need help with on your site.
