Is it possible to end the suspension?
-
My site, timstout.wordpress.com, was suspended yesterday and I think I figured out what I did wrong: I added an Amazon affiliate link to an ebook I wrote and recently released. I forgot that I wasn’t supposed to do that–I’m so sorry! I just forgot the TOS. I will take the affiliate links out, but I need back in to do so.
I sent an email request for support, yesterday, but have not heard back. I’ve had this blog for almost five years, so is there a way to save it and end the suspension if I make the corrections? Please?
Thank you for all your help!

You should be able to click on the link on the timstout.wordpress.com page and contact staff confidentially via that. You are also allowed to use Amazon links for books that YOU have written. Contact them that way and they should get it sorted for you via email. Be sure and check your email Spam folder as well, in case the responses go there.

Thanks, raincoaster. They are MY ebooks. Yes. And nothing in the Spam folder.
I’ve written them once before (though, without the Amazon explanation), and I’ve read on other “account suspended” topics that re-emailing them will put me at the bottom of first-come-first-serve status. Do you know if that’s true? If they are about to get back to me, I don’t want to drop back to the bottom. How long does it typically take to hear a response?

That IS true. It takes several days to hear back about a suspension. If you contacted them through that link on the blog page, just wait.

Hang in there. I think I’ve been suspended three times. Staff will work it out with you.
