  Is it possible to have Both Multi-Level Horizontal and Vertical Navigation Bars?

  Dear WordPressers,
  I’m using the theme Atahualpa and it has a great multi-level navigation bar at the top of the screen based on the hierarchy of pages.

  Is there a theme/ plugin or widget that would allow me to have a similar navigation bar on the left hand side of the page based on categories?

  rosclarke is right, you cannot adjust the theme HTML here at WordPress.com, but you can do that for self-hosted WordPress.org blogs. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn about the differences. The sticky threads have this information.
