Is it possible to have clickable hyperlinks in the Upcoming Events widget?

  I have added hyperlinks to my Google calendar and want those links to pass through to the Upcoming Events widget. Right now it just lists the link as text in the widget. Is it possible?

  Hmm. Good question. What does the HTML look like on Google calendar’s end? Could you try it like this:

  <a href="http://linkhere.com/">Text to link.</a>

  Can you link me to the calendar on Google so I can take a look at it?

  Hi Eurello,

  I attempted the HTML in Google calendar, that didn’t work. Then I tried PHP in Google calendar, that didn’t work either. Unfortunately, Google calendar passes it all through as text.

  I see that. I played around with this a bit, and I don’t think it’s possible. You can simply embed the Google calendar itself in a Text widget, but that’s a different look entirely.

  Aw shucks. Oh well.

  Perhaps you can take that back to your development team as a good idea. I am thinking there are more people out there other than me who would like to redirect traffic to an event announcement.
