Is it possible to have two feeds in one blog?

Essentially I’d like to turn a “page” in my blog into another blog, like the one that comes up in the home page. Basically a supplementary blog. Is this possible?

If you give us a link to your blog and more details of what you’re trying to do, we may be able to suggest some workarounds.

For example, you might set up a category for your supplementary blog, and let people know about the URL and RSS feed for that category alone.

Is there a technical reason why having two feed pages on one blog is impossible, or has it just not been developed yet?
From a musician’s point of view, if I could add to my gigs page the same way I add to my blog, posting each gig as it comes along, rather than having to edit the gigs page every time, that would be useful! I have seen other blog software with two feeds but I like wordpress.

vuwcu – please provide a link to your blog and consider linking it in your user name as indicated in the sticky at the top of the forums:
Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.
