Is it possible to insert a link to an image at the top of my page?
-
Hi all,
Is it possible to display a “ticker” of the kind seen under the header in the following blog: http://thetigerspride.blogspot.com/ (the one with the butterfly) into my page to display across the top of the home page, above the individual posts, either as done in the above blog, or else as part of the header? I am happy to change themes if necessary.
The following codes are provided by ticker.com to link to your ticker: html, bbCode and ezCode.
Thanks all.
Angie

That is not a WordPress.com blog, so we won’t be able to help you with that here in the WordPress.com forums.

Ah, my mistake, I see your link now on your name. I’m so used to people who don’t do it, I didn’t even look!
And no, you cannot use the ticker in your header. You can use Ticker.com HTML-only code in your sidebar in a text widget, or in a post.

What you could do is put it in a short post and make that post sticky. Then it would always be under your header.

Thanks raincoaster – the sticky thing worked great. Apart from the date, but i gather from the support site that this cannot be removed. Much appreciated, as always.
