Is it possible to link to a private post or page?

  If I make a post or page private can I provide a link to a friend so they can view that private post or page? And to confirm, when I make one post or page private it only affects that one post or page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes you can link to a private post or page – but unless someone has privileges to view the page / post they will get a “Page not found” error – you will need to invite your friend to be a user on your blog for that to work

  Dashboard >> Users > Add New

  Contributor should be enough rights

  I link to private Posts on a project management blog here – contact info and sensitive info is put in the Post and the must be logged in takes care of security for me
