Is it possible to merge all my network site stats to one?
-
Hi Team,
I am planning to merge all my WordPress network sites (multisite) to one (single site). Just before that I want to confirm if all my network sites stats can be merged to one (main site)?
If yes, then I will go with merging the site posts and the request you to merge the stats after making it single site. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Are you referring to the Jetpack sites connected to this account?
If so, then yes, after you’ve migrated your content, we can also merge the stats for each site into the final site. One caveat: stats are tied to the post/page-ID, so stats will only reflect for the imported post if it still has the same post-ID it had on the original site. As you’ll be importing content form multiple sites into a site that itself already also has existing content, there’s a good chance at least some of your posts will be assigned new post-IDs in the process, in which case the stats for those posts will be lost once merged.
Once you’re ready, please comment here and confirm the URL for each site you want to migrate stats FROM, as will as the URL of the site you want to migrate them TO.

Hi there,
Could you confirm that you’re okay with some stats being lost in the process?
There’s a good chance some posts will not have the same post ID, so the stats for those will not be merged. At the same time, some different posts may have the same post ID, in which case, the stats for those posts will be higher than the actual stats. There’s no way around this and we won’t be able to undo this once the stats have been merged.
Please confirm if you’re okay with that and we’ll go ahead with the merge.

Looking at the new “main site”, was the content and stats migration is completed and successful?
-
Yes, I have moved the posts which ever I needed to be migrated to my main site.
Also I can see my stats updated (merged), though I have few issues with stats due to the foresaid post id mis-match. I am totally fine with it and happy with your support.
