Is it possible to move media from a wordpress.org blog to a wordpress.com blog?

  I have a wordpress.org blog that is having severe performance issues and the person who has been helping me manage my site is no longer able to support it. So, I was looking to move it back to wordpress.com and use the premium services so I can point my domain there but I can’t figure out how to move the media over to wordpress.com. Can someone help?

  The media files are attachments. When you import the XML file of your content you will be prompted and your agree that you want to include attachments.

  Thank you. I’m trying to reimport again to see if it will work this time. Last time I did export of posts using the export tool in wordpress.org dashboard and then import using the import tool in the wordpress.com dashboard and the photos are still pointed at my old domain and not in media. I never got asked if I wanted to import media and I see now it says if there is media they will be imported automatically. So, trying again with a new import file to see if that fixes anything.
