Is it possible to NOT have to approve comments?

  As the titles says really. We are travelling through India and have limited access to wifi / 3G. We would prefer to not have to approve comments. Is it possible? Thanks a bunch.

  Yes, at settings > discussion under “Before a comment appears” make sure neither are checked. Do note though that any spam comments not caught by the Akismet spam filter will end up posted on your site. That is the drawback. Give your situation though that is something you may have to just accept and then when you do have internet access you will have to look though the comments carefully and “spam” the spam comments. You will also have to look through the spam comments for any that were mistakenly caught and were not spam.

  You are welcome. I’ll have to leave that one for someone else, but I don’t think you can do that.
