Is it possible to place site inactive until we can pay for hosting?

  We want to hide the site until we raise the money to pay the hosting to include video , etc.
  Is it possible to hide the site until we raise the money?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  If you would like to keep your site private while you build it you can go to your Settings from your dashboard and change the visibility of the site to “I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose”. You can change your visibility when you are done building and are satisfied with your site.
