Is it possible to put code in header or footer in free version of WordPress?

  Hi I’m New in wordpress and I have question.

  Is it possible to put code in header or footer in free version of WordPress?(wordpress.com free plan)
  If yes, please tell me, how ?

  I want add code to header to verify my blog in pinterest and add share button to my blog.

  in both situation only need to add code to header and I searched and found that I will need to go in my wordpress dashboard then settings Section then click on “insert header and footer” but there is no such option in my wordpress.

  so I think maybe this is only for paid plan and not for free.

  This wouldn’t be possible on the free plan, at a minimum the site would need to be on the business plan.

  The settings you describe there are most likely to be powered by this plugin here: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/
