Is it possible to remove the comment bubbles on front page?

  Hello, trying to figure out how to remove the comment bubble/ reference saying comments are off from post listing on front page. I have turned comments and pings off. Any advice would be very much appreciated? It’s the inuit theme – http://canberralab.com/
