Is it possible to replace files?

  This seems like an odd question, but it makes sense – to me anbyway.

  I use PDFs quite extensively on my blog/website. Now I want to update those PDFs and upload them again. I want all the links, file descriptions and posts to remain the same.

  Is it possible to simply upload these files again, writing over the new ones without going through the process of uploading them as new? Can I use an FTP application to do it, or something simular?

  I don’t think there is a system in place to do that I am afraid. I thought maybe you could under your Admin => Manage => Uploads, but it doesn’t look like it. There is no FTP access on wordpress.com either. Unless a search comes up with something different, I don’t think so.
