Is it possible to retrieve an old Worpress site?

    I had a WordPress website whose domain expired, and was transferred to a new owner. However, I need to know if it’s possible to retrieve my WordPress account where all the content that I created for the website?

    If that site was running on the wordpress.com platform, it has returned to the free version.
    However if you site was hosted by a third party, meaning it uses the open source wordpress.org software, the situation is complicated. If you nor your former hosting didn’t make a proper backup, your content is gone forever. Perhaps you can find some parts or an older version at https://web.archive.org/
