Is it possible to see how long visitors spend on the site?
-
Hi there,
This isn’t so much a problem but more some advice on how to understand the stats better.
I know that it is not possible to install google analytics on wordpress.com sites. So is there a way to see how long people are actually spending on my site or each page?
Additionally, I have a number of links to various posts on my home page (static page rather than a feed of the new posts). If people click on thse links rather than typing in the URL to that specific post, is that reflected on the stats specifically? Or is it just registered as another view?
Apologies if this info is already available in the help section. I did look but couldn’t find the specific answers I was looking for.
Many, many thanks!
Sean

I’m sorry but there isn’t!

A stat will be measured the same way for either scenario: whether they click or type it in. Each one will be registered as another page view.

I appreciate that you checked on that! You probably checked this help page which is the right place and which should always be updated with the latest stats info:
