Is it possible to selectively import/export between 2 WP.com blogs.
-
I am posting using my public blog user name but am asking for separate private blogs that I do not wish to identify on a public forum. I have administrative rights to both private blogs in question. I would like to save some time and in transferring some complicated posts and graphics between blogs, not copying or restoring an entire blog. Is this possible? The blogs in question are registered under different email accounts and user names for different purposes, but are used by the same people. We don’t have separate user names, but just go in using the single user name and password at this time.
If it is not possible to import partial content, if I import the entire blog A to blog B and delete the unwanted portions from blog B, will that erase blog A? (I don’t wish to do that.) Will the imported content overwrite what’s already there in blog B? (don’t wish to do that either, just add content to B.) Any other possibilities for efficiently transferring data? Thank you.

It depends. Exports can be broken down by date and by category. Other than that, you can’t do it. The export import process doesn’t overwrite or delete anything.

Thank you. If it’s possible by category, then that will be very helpful and save a lot of time.
