Is it possible to send audio files to people that are hosted on my wordpress sit

  I have uploaded an audio file to my media library and when I click on it it works correctly, but when I send the URL link to other people or even just put that URL in another browser it says that the file is corrupt and cannot be played. Is it possible to send audio files to others that are hosted on my wordpress site and if so what can I do?

  Audio files uploaded to your media library are shareable, just as if you attached that audio file to email, or shared it over a cloud storage like Dropbox.

  But it sounds like they’re using a browser that can’t handle the audio file correctly:

  It looks like your audio file is .m4a , so that file’s web address will not work correctly in Firefox or Internet Explorer (unless you have and add-on that can handle it better.) But it works great in Chrome and Safari.

  You’ll probably be best off recommending that your friends download the file to the computer, then listen on their preferred music player, if they’re seeing this error.
