Is it possible to shut off the twitter/facebook log in functions on comments?

    Hi WordPress. Since the addition of the new Facebook and Twitter features on the comment boxes, my blog has been loading very, VERY slowly. I’m also having a terrible time trying to edit my blog after I’ve previewed or published it, mainly because it’s loading so slowly. I thought at first I was having trouble with my browser or internet connection: I checked both however, and they run fine when I’m not on WordPress. Is it possible to shut the log in buttons off? I don’t have a Facebook account and I certainly don’t want my personal comments to be broadcasted on my Twitter account. Thank you.

    There isn’t any way to turn off those comment options but they shouldn’t be slowing your site down too much. If you haven’t already can you try clearing your cache and cookies?

    If that doesn’t work would you be able to try loading your site from another location and internet connection? Thanks!
