Is it possible to store an exact working copy of my site on the hard drive
-
I want to be able to email anyone copies of JPGs or text files on my site stored on my hard drive
-
-
One other thing please, reading the instructions with the Windows version it is necessary to get the permission of my ISP to use PHP code, would this be necessary if using a Mac or a Linux such as Mint?
-
you can make a mirror on your PC – but that would be a WordPress.ORG install – and you would need to get help at WordPress.ORG for the install and such –
but the text for the Posts and Pages is stored in the database – so sending text files is no easier than from a blog here –
I send links to the pages on my site to folks – that makes the email smaller and easier

This sounds like a question regarding a self-hosted WordPress.org install, rather than a WordPress.com site.
