Is it possible to transfer my domain registration to wordpress?

  I would like to let my normal website lapse (i haven’t made it in over a year.) And I’d like to use wordpress as my website, and register my domain name with them. Currently, it’s registered with Bluehost. I read that it takes 60 days for a domain name to be available again. Can I transfer the registration to wordpress?
