is it possible to update blogs imported from tumblr to import newer posts?

  Hi! I have used wordpress to back up some of my blogs on tumblr, just in case something happens. But my backups are a few years old now, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to update the imported blogs, so that the recent posts are also updated, without having to clear the entire blog and start again? Because it’s nearly 3000 posts and it took a long time to do previously… I’d just like to update the last 6months to a year.

  Hi there,

  Any posts that already exist on your WordPress.com site will be skipped automatically by the importer if you import from the same Tumblr site again.
