Is it possible to upgrade from premium to business?

  I have seen this question asked, but not seen a direct answer. If I first upgrade to premium, can I upgrade to business in the future if I decide I need more space & other features? Will the cost be prorated in any way? Thanks.

  PS: This is just a general question, I actually do not want to upgrade snowboardmommy.wordpress.com itself, but the form is forcing me to include it.

  The way these questions get posted, it’s making me feel like I need to say again, that I DO NOT need help with snowboardmommy.wordpress.com.

  I DO need help with whether it is possible to upgrade from the Premium to Business.

  You can cancel and existing upgrade and then purchase a new one. As this involves domain mapping I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  When the Staff gets here … I now have a few more questions based on timethief’s response …

  # I’d be concerned about domain mapping getting cancelled in order to upgrade (in general) and in particular, would it affect VideoPress videos embedded on my stand-alone WordPress installations?

  #Which reminds me, if I first have to cancel premium, what would happen to VideoPress videos uploaded here?

  #And, would I get a (partial) refund on cancelling the Premium?

  Yes, you can get a partial refund. Yes, Staff can do what you ask. As I said above this involves domain mapping so Staff assistance is required. Do not delete anything please. Simply wait until Staff work their way through all the threads tagged for their attention that were tagged before this one please.

  Ok, I get it. I wasn’t going to delete anything or do anything.

  And I do not need to upgrade anything right now. I was just asking the questions before I even did a premium upgrade, so I am not sure why the staff needs to get involved with domain mapping, since I haven’t even signed up for a premium account yet and there isn’t anything mapped yet.

  I’m just trying to ask a question BEFORE I buy *anything* and I have to say that this process really does not instill the confidence to spend $99 – $299 here.

  Thank you for your patience. If you buy WordPress.com Premium and later decide you want to upgrade to Business you may do so from the store page. Currently the cost to upgrade from Premium to Business is $199. You will not have to cancel your Premium Bundle to make the switch.

  Our 30 day (2 day for domain) refund policy applies to all Upgrades. After which time it is no longer possible to get a refund.
