  Is it possible to upload a pdf file that readers can download onto their computers?

  Hi there. This is possible, yes. You upload the PDF to your media library the same as you’ll do with an image, and then you paste the link to that file in a post or page. When someone clicks on that link it will either open the PDF or download it, depending on the person’s browser and browser plugins. They can also right-click the link and download it that way.
