is it possible to use the Reader without having a wordpress site?

    is it possible to use only the Reader, that is without having a wordpress site or blog myself?
    i just deleted my site, so now I see that my comments to some blogs I follow in the Reader, directs to another homepage I have (which is not a WP site). That’s ok with me, I only worry about me being thrown out of both the Reader, and that my comments will disappear.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hey ingvildtronvik,

    As long as you have a WordPress.com, your comments won’t disappear. If the website you have commented on has the default WordPress.com comment box, your comments will appear with the link to the website which is attached to your account.
