I tried to download blog using filezillabut it gives me an error of server connection.How i can work offline on my blog? Thank you

Is your blog hosted on WordPress.COM? If so, you can’t use FTP here. As crybaby says, your best bet is to use an offline blog editor (but not MSWord!).

If you have the latest version of office, and are on Windows, then Word has a built-in blog editor that according to all reports works well with wordpress.
If you happen to be on Mac, there are a couple good offline blog editors out there that work well, Ecto and MarsEdit. Neither is free, but Ecto is under $20 and MarsEdit I think is around $40.
On the bottom tool bar in the wordpress editor is also a “paste from Word” icon, which generally works pretty well for pasting from Word, but in my experience, it is not perfect, and sometimes some errant bad code slips through.

i realized is not possible to use ftp on wordpress.com. I’ll try with built in blog editor of Word but windows live writer is very big to download with my analogic connection. Thanks to all of you for your kind support.
