Is it possible with css, please help

    Hello I am working on a website named (I am new in CSS) http://www.stephaniecowie.com which is created from wordpress.com and the current theme name is “Hemingway Rewritten”

    All I need to confirm can I change the layout also whole desigme of the website like this one http://www.kriscarr.com using the CSS editor.

    If it is possible to change the design like the 2nd one, what will be the most easiest way to do that for me as a newbie.

    Please, someone help me by giving the information.

    Hey there !

    In CSS you can do a lot of things, but you can’t add content*, only move it or remove it. What do you like about the Kriscarr.com website ? Is the layout ? The semi-transparent menu ? The colors ?

    My guess is if you want a website that will look like this one, Hemingway Rewritten won’t be a good start. If you tell me more about what you like, I guess we could find a good starting theme !

    *I know in CSS3 you can add content, but it’s very limited ;)

    Hello Francisbob,

    I just want to design http://www.stephaniecowie.com/ make something that looks like http://www.kriscarr.com/, style and layout of the site, but I want to use different colour in the site that I will create.
    Also I want to link Awaber form in the site like kriscarr.com have if it is possible in wordpress.com sites.

    Hi Saidur Rahman, with the Custom Design Upgrade and some CSS experience, you could come close to the site you reference. I would suggest looking through our Magazine style themes for one that comes close structurally to what you want and look at and play with the Demo sites for those themes.

    On the Aweber form, you would have to link to the form at the Aweber site as the form code they use is not allowed here. Aweber can help you with getting a link to your form that is hosted on their site.

    If you wish to have the Aweber form embedded in your site, then you will have to self-host your own WordPress.org installation.

    You may wish to review the differences between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress.org sites.

    Here are a few examples of web hosts that feature scripts that will do the installation of the WordPress.org software for you.
