Is it safe to remve OLD blog post??
-
I am in the midst of planning a revamp of my blog site. When I wrote my first book, the chapters were expanded version old blog posts or they were loosely based on them.
I’d like to get rid of some old blog posts that never saw the light of day, due to bad titles and replace it. In some cases, I’d be replacing an old blog post with an expanded and improved version of the article.
These new blog posts would mirror the chapters in my book.
How would this affect my ranking on Google? Would the search engine hafe a “fit” or something? On the surface, it is actually a very good idea.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here is what I’m talking about.
Back in 2010, I wrote “Escaping the Bubble” and here’s the link:
https://inspiration-point.org/2010/07/19/escaping-the-bubble/Talk about old! For the book, I wrote a chapter based on this old story and I came up with a new title: “Come Out of Your Hidey-Hole” The story is very much revised. I just don’t like the old article and I want readers to see the new one.
Another old article that’s written around the same time is in the book; however, it’s greatly improved on. What about this old one? It’s called “A Summer of Hell”.
