I am still using the classic editor and do I need to switch over to the block or can I continue using the classic editor. If there is going to be a small fee I don’t mind paying it.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Greetings!

I am not aware of any credible suggestion that there will be a fee for using the Classic editor. Here is the most recent posting from WordPress.com about the Classic editor:

The Classic Editing Experience is Moving, Not Leaving

Hi there, if your site is hosted here on WordPress.com and you are currently using the Classic Editor in your MySite dashboard, once you receive the email notification that your sites are converted to the Block Editor as default at MySite (see the blog post that @slantedplanet linked to) you’ll be able to use the original WP Classic Editor in the WP Admin dashboard of your site. There’s no fee associated with that. However, it will not be possible to continue using the Classic Editor in the MySite dashboard.

If you host your site running the WordPress software on 3rd party hosting, like SiteGround, DreamHost, etc., you’d be using the Block Editor there unless you installed the free Classic Editor plugin on your site. In general for help with WP, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/forums

If you are not sure what flavor of WP your site is using, perhaps reading this guide will help https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
