Is my address being hijacked?

I discovered two websites that appear to be using my web address, followed by a period and then their own addresses. I have nothing to do with these websites. Is this legal? My own URL works correctly, but I do not want my URL being assimilated into somebody else’s for their own purposes. Here are the websites:

    http://snowschuler11.wordpress.com/.
    Search domain jodiambroseblog.comjodiambroseblog.com/tag/blogging/

    http://snowschuler11.wordpress.com/2013/01/02/marvin/.
    Search domain do.surnamers.comdo.surnamers.com/marvin

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

“http://snowschuler11.wordpress.com/.” is your website/blog. A period after “.com” does nothng.

http://snowschuler11.wordpress.com/2013/01/02/marvin/, is a post on your website, titled “Marvin,” which was published on 2 January 2013.

Musicdoc1, thank you – I can see that if you click on my link in my forum post, it really does take me to my blog, but that is definitely not the case when you do it from the original browser listing. From a browser, you can see that my url appears under JodiAmbrose’s listing and when you click on my url it takes you to her page. here is the complete browser listing as it appears in multiple browsers:

    blogging | Jodi Ambrose’s Blog
    http://snowschuler11.wordpress.com/.
    Search domain jodiambroseblog.comjodiambroseblog.com

When you click on my URL, it takes you to Ambrose’s site.

When I copy and paste that browser listing into this forum, the link to the ambrose site is broken, so you can’t see what is happening. However, if somebody would be kind enough to google or browse for “snowschuler11”, you will find Ambrose’s listing with my URL and see that it will take you to her site and not mine. You cannot find this association if you browse for “jodi ambrose”, only if you browse for “snowschuler11.” Same is true for the surnames site.

If anybody would be kind enough to test it and help me figure out how to stop it, I’d appreciate it. I have high school students who look for my blog and Ambrose’s site is definitely not the kind of place that I want them accidentally discovering.

Never mind. I figured it out. the browser was referencing a mention to my website that appeared on the other blog.

Yes. That will happen. You could ask the administrator of the other site to remove the mention or link as the case may be.
