is my admin email account visible?

  When someone makes a comment on my site and I reply to them, is my admin email address (i.e. the one wordpress uses to contact me) visible to that person, and if so, is there anything I can do to change that so they don’t see my private email address?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  @hagenics – someone will surely correct me if I have this wrong … but …

  If you are commenting or replying to comments on your own blog, then your email address is NOT disclosed to the commenter.

  Obviously if you comment on other blogs, then your email address is disclosed in that case.

  As a suggestion it might be worth setting up another email address to use specifically with the blog. OR An iCloud account (for instance) allows one to have up to three alias’, which all arrive at the same inbox. It’s a way of avoiding spam turning up in one’s inbox, and protecting one’s primary email address …
