Is my desired blog name already in use?

My desired blog name is not available. I wonder why, since it is not very common.
I tried to set up “evaeaston” as a blog name. It wasn’t allowed. I can’t see that evaeaston.wordpress.com is already in use. but maybe it is reserved in some other way? Could it be that I attempted it at one time and did not complete the process? How might I unlock or reclaim it?
