Is my domain still available for renewal?

  When I try to go to my blog regardless of which rout I choose, I am unable to access it. Either the .com url or the wordpress.com url. I am very frustrated. I realized that I clearly was not paying enough attention, and did not get any notices that my domain was expirering, but it has indeed expired on me. If it is still available I would like to renew it. I am unsure how to go about doing this, and was hoping that I could get some help….
  I am also unclear as to why I cannot seem to find any trace of it at all…please help.

  Several notices would have been sent to the email of record for the account that owns the domain – it looks like the domain is in Redemption – I have flagged this for the staff to help

  What does Redemption mean? Thank you. And I thought that I would, but I recieved nothing :( I am so frustrated.

  The email goes to the email of record – sometimes the notices get put in the spam filter.

  It means the domain registrar is preparing to release the domain name, maybe auction it off or any of several bad things from your view point – it also means the staff needs to help and there will probably be an additional charge set by the registrar for the special handling – the charges are not set by WordPress.COM

  I see. Okay well thank you.
  None of my other WordPress.com emails get placed in spam, so I wonder what happened.

  One other thing that happens from time to time is the Upgrade is bought with another account – a person will have two accounts and they will get confused as to which account bought the upgrade

  But the staff have a good record of helping sort these things out

  auxclass’s guess was right – your domain was purchased by another user (twinsatlarge) so that person is the one who would have received reminder emails for its renewal.

  The domain twinsatlarge is currently in redemption and I’ll email instructions for renewing it to the upgrade owner – please check the email associated with the user account twinsatlarge for instructions.
