Is my e-mail address visible when I reply to a comment?

  Hi there,

  I started a new blog recently and want to know (but couldn’t find info on) if my e-mail address is shared with users who leave a comment on the website if I reply using the e-mail reply feature?

  I.e. Someone comments on my blog, and I reply to them via the e-mail “reply” option. Is my address visible to them?

  No, your email address will show up in the dashboard comments section of the blog that you comment on, but it will not be visible with the comment, unless you put it in the email comment. My suggestion is to strip out everything from the email body except for the comment – no signatures or anything like that.
