Is my IP Address public?

  I know this is a stupid noob question, but I’m wondering how anonymous my WordPress blog is. Can a weirdo who has stalked my other (Wikipedia mostly) activities through my IP address find my blog through my IP address?

  Are you asking about when you leave a comment? You leave a comment and many systems grab your IP address for the computer / system that you make the comment from – some systems are dynamic and the IP is on the other side of the country – others are static – reversing that number to find you would be very hard without a court order

  There are 65,000,000++ blogs on WordPress.COM and they all go through 6 IP address and your blog IP is dynamic – so tough to reverse that just based on an IP address
