is my notification icon working?

  when going on my blog page, I don’t seem to be getting notifications, that someone liked it. I received an email saying someone liked it for example, . But when I went on word press it is not lit up nor does it appear if I click on the little notification/chat symbol.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I do have one more thing regarding this problem. I have it set up so when I do a new blog post, it comes to my email, just like the other blogs notify me. Mine did not show up in my email, though I do know it was posted.

  Hi there,

  I checked all your settings and everything looks good. Can you please check your Junk/Spam folder as our emails can sometimes end up in there.

  Also, can you whitelist emails from *@wordpress.com (all emails from the domain) and/or (email visible only to moderators and staff)?

  Then, if you are still not receiving any emails for notification, please provide a couple of example links to specific comments or likes that you haven’t gotten an email about.
