I would like to blog about the affect my husband’s porn addiction has had on our family. I have no intention of discussing sexual details. Is this considered mature content?

Thanks for taking the time to check with us. The Mature Content guide @timethief linked to explains what we consider to be mature content.
We define mature content as content only appropriate for adult audiences, which includes nudity, offensive language, depictions of violence and descriptions of sexual acts. There are currently no posts on your site so it’s hard for us to say whether your site needs to be marked as mature or not.
A site being marked as mature doesn’t mean it has been suspended. It just means your content is only suitable for adult audiences and therefore won’t appear in the Reader. It will still be visible to the public though.
I think the best way forward is to contact us once you have a couple of posts on your site and we’ll take a closer look.
