Is my tumblr blog still importing?

It was taking an awful long time and not showing any signs of the number of posts moving up from 0, so I followed this advice on the screen ‘If your import gets stuck for a long time or you would like to import from a different Tumblr account instead then click on the ‘Clear account information’ button below to reset the importer.’ That did reset the tumblr blog back to the ‘import this blog’ button, but when I click that, I get a red error saying ‘You can only have one running import at a time. Please wait for the current one to complete. If you need any further assistance please contact support.’
Does that mean it is still importing? I can’t see how because the button is still sitting at ‘import this blog’. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting to tumblr and also clearing the account info again. Is there a way to know if it is actually importing?

Okay, I see how that this is a common problem. I wish I’d known it could take 24 hours before I stopped it and retried. There really should be a message about that on the import page.
Pretty please, can I have someone reset the transfer for me?

I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.
If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.
If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.
